The Big Year 2021

Hopefully, we will have a good year ahead. If you like birding and birds you should follow up with this map below. Our goal is to see over 100 types of birds (75 types of birds lay their eggs in Iceland) this year. We will mark it on the map below. Winter is the low season for birding in Iceland, but still, there is something going on. The main birding season starts when we have the birds coming here from Europe in early April. 

During summer we have big numbers of each type of bird, so there is a good chance of seeing a lot of each type.
